About Us

One brand. Two stores. All heart.

Welcome to Banksia and Honeysuckle, two conscious boutiques nestled in the sun-drenched coastal town of Ballina, NSW.

We’re a small business with a big love for beautiful things made with intention - thoughtfully curated pieces for women, little ones, and the home, with a focus on Australian labels, quality craftsmanship, and mindful living.

Whether you’re popping in for something special, building a wardrobe you truly love, or finding the perfect gift, we’re here to make shopping feel personal, easy, and inspiring.

Inspired by the Australian landscape we call home, Banksia and Honeysuckle takes its name from two symbols close to our hearts: the banksia, an iconic native wildflower known for its resilience and candle-like blooms, and honeysuckle, evoking sweetness, warmth, and new beginnings.

Banksia first bloomed in 2021 as a thoughtfully curated boutique of women’s and children’s clothing, homewares, and accessories, and as our community grew, so did the desire for more - more for little ones, more meaningful gifting, and more support for new mums.

In 2023, Honeysuckle blossomed into its own dedicated space for babies, children, and motherhood, and today we’re proudly one brand with two stores, growing slowly and intentionally - grounded in homegrown creativity, conscious choices, and the community we’re grateful to grow alongside.

We Grow Slow

We’re not in a rush - and we’ve never been about keeping up with fast fashion. At Banksia and Honeysuckle, we’re proud to do things differently. We work with small, independent Australian labels who pour heart and soul into every piece they create.

That means we choose to grow slowly - with care, intention, and integrity. It also means... We don’t do sales like everyone else.

You won’t find us joining the noise of Black Friday or rushing through seasons just to clear shelves. We believe in fair value, thoughtful shopping, and supporting makers who deserve to be paid properly for their work.

When you shop with us, you’re not just buying something beautiful - you’re backing a movement that supports local creativity, sustainable growth, and conscious choices.
